This superb conjunction of planets Saturn, Venus and Mercury, accompanied by the Moon has graced the skies of early morning near Noerdlingen, Germany.
In the first light of dawn, Mercury, Venus and Saturn are gathered around a crescent moon.
This beautiful image of the conjunction was taken October 16, 2009.
The conjunction of 5 planets Mars, Venus, Saturn, Mercury and Jupiter are rare, they were visible in the same area of sky for several weeks the 13 to 16 May 2002.
5 and May 6, 2002, Mars, Saturn and Venus formed a triangle clearly visible along with Jupiter.

On this summer sky, near the small town of Weikersheim in southern Germany, the photographer Jens Hackmann has frozen moons of Jupiter. Its telephoto lens the conjuction of a beautiful full moon with the planet Jupiter.
Like Galileo, 400 years ago, he has not stood in front of the moons of Jupiter barely visible in this photo as tiny points of light around the giant planet Jupiter.
