From Pluto to Gonggong: The Odyssey of Trans-Neptunian Dwarf Planets

Dwarf planets are spherical celestial bodies that orbit the Sun without dominating their orbit. Mostly located beyond Neptune, they include Pluto, Eris, Haumea, Makemake, and Gonggong. Remnants of the protoplanetary disk, these icy worlds preserve the memory of the early stages of the Solar System's formation and offer a unique glimpse into its most distant structure.
